WEEE: EU - Parliament adopts recast Directive by a large majority As expected, the European Parliament adopted the recast WEEE Directive in its second reading in plenary on 19 January. The adopted text follows the comprehensive compromise package brokered before Christmas. The text still needs to be formally adopted by the Council.
