Andrew Hanratty joins dataserv to head up its UK Compliance and Recycling operations.
Andrew has 23 years environmental sector experience focussing on different types of Producer Responsibility legislation.
He set up the WEEE and Battery compliance schemes for Veolia and sat on the UK Govt WEEE Advisory Board helping to advise
the Conservative and then Coalition Governments on policy. Andrew will operate between our reprocessing facilities in Staines,
Gloucester and Daventry.
The Step Initiative („Solving the E-waste Problem“) has published a new White Paper entitled “One Global Definition of E-waste”.
The goal is to reveal a non-legal definition of the term “e-waste”, whose everyday usage and understanding is widely inconsistent.
Furthermore the white paper reflects Step’s general position on e-waste related issues and thus shall provide guidance to relevant
stakeholders and decision makers.
As a member of Step, the dataserv Group Holding Ltd. endorses the conclusions made in the White Paper.
