Dataserv® Group works with our partners to develop a number of specialist, proven and integrated processes, implemented by a network of collection, audit, refurbishment, breakdown and redistribution installations across Europe. These installations all work to eradicate any risk associated with sensitive legacy data, maximise the value of salvageable assets and render unwanted computer equipment into environmentally friendly, inert materials.

Dataserv uses SEAP (Security Equipment Approval Panel) approved deguassers, and a machine which 'melts' CD's so that the surface cannot be repaired or read SEAP works as part of a NATO alliance. The SEAP standard measures degaussers performance against a defined requirement for use in the destruction of Government protectively marked information.

Every one of these processes has been created to help ensure peace of mind and to ensure businesses, public sector institutions and government agencies around Europe receive maximum benefit from their retired IT resources, and protection from its security, environmental and legislative liabilities.

As a Europe-wide network we remain constantly vigilant on our customers’ behalf, staying on top of new energy-saving and ecological initiatives, as well as legislative changes. We ensure that we and our customers are aware of, and able to comply with, all local and European initiatives, certification and legislation related to the secure disposal and redistribution of used IT equipment, including WEEE, Sarbanes Oxley, Basel ll, HIPAA, FISMA, FACT, ACT and StEp. We are members of all relevant professional bodies including ICER.
