DATA SAFE LOGISTICS
dataserv runs a fleet of GPS vehicles, these being deployed wherever possible in order to take control of assets at the earliest opportunity. In addition to this fleet of vehicles dataserv is able to subcontract part of its reverse logistic to approved third parties specialising in reverse logistics.

These third parties can be engaged to collect on-site equipment across EMEA and transport it to the designated destination, in country or trans-border.

All subcontractor licenses are checked. The transport of waste is carried out by specialist carriers which are licensed on a national level.

The dataserv standard service level covers:

  • collection

    • dataserv arranges for pick-up and shipping
    • Logistics team contacts customer to schedule a pick-up

  • packaging of equipment (“program managed”)

    • dataserv arranges for packing of the equipment at customer site.
    • equipment to be consolidated on-site at a central location with pallet access to an exit

  • customer pre-packed

    • customer arranges for packing of the equipment at customer site
    • equipment to be packed on pallets or in boxes consolidated on-site at a central location with pallet access to an exit

  • drop-off services

    • customer arranges for packing of the equipment at customer site, as well as the transportation of the equipment to our facility
    • depending on the country a single product return can also be arranged by a pre-paid post label solution
